Hello Tom Baines Families,

As I end my time as Principal at Tom Baines, I just want to send out another huge thank you to each family member, student, staff member and community member for the support that I have received. It has been an absolute honor and pleasure to have been the principal of such an amazing school. The teaching and learning that happens each day is spectacular. I will always cherish the memories that I have made here and how it has prepared me for my new system position. Thank you so much.

Mr. Duncan White will join the staff on February 23 as Acting Principal and will work closely with Mrs. O’Leary to ensure a smooth end to the school year. The new permanent principal will be appointed in late Spring and will begin in August.

February 24 – Report Cards go live – no printed copies provided

February 25 – Pink Shirt Day

February 27 – Professional Learning Day – no school for students

March 3 – Grade 8 OE Ski Trip

March 16 – School Council at 7:00 pm in Learning Commons

March 19-20 – Learning Conferences – more information to come

March 21 – 29 – Spring Break

March 30 – Classes resume
