​​​Support for Students at the CBE

Our students’ success is our top priority and we understand that our students live complex lives and that many factors both in school and outside of school can affect their ability to learn. The CBE offers a variety of services (such as Culture and Linguistic Support, Exceptional and Special Needs, and Psychological Services) to support students, their families and our school, so students can be successful learners.


Student Services at Tom Baines

  • Teacher Advocate:  Every student on an IPP will have a Teacher Advocate who will coordinate the planning, implementation and evaluation of the IPP. Based on individual needs, support is available for students in and outside the classroom.
  • Homework Hotel:  All students are welcome to attend Homework Hotel at lunch to receive academic support/time to complete course work.
  • Wellbeing: Students can receive support with mental health and well-being from one of our Student Services Learning Leaders.
