Hello Tom Baines Families,

Thank you all for a great round of conferences. If you were unable to book a conference but find it important to speak to the teacher please send them an individual email. These are the final conferences of the year so please continue to check your child's Power School to monitor their academic progress.

April 2-4 - Grade 9 OE Camping Trip

April 7-8 - Grade 7 Band Camp

April 9 - Grade 9 Quebec and Disney Parent Meeting

CUPE Strike Update - we are happy that things have been resolved and the strike has ended. We welcomed Mr. Szeto back to Tom Baines today and we have missed him. The work he does is invaluable and we have noticed a huge difference in the condition of the building without him. We are happy to have him back!

Athletics - the Badminton season will start the week we return from school. Stay tuned for information regarding tryouts. This information will be shared in our morning announcements and given to students during PE.

I hope you all have a wonderful Spring Break and spending time with family. We are looking forward to better weather and longer days. We are also excited for the upcoming amazing learning opportunities here at Tom Baines. There is still a lot to do and we appreciate your continued support. We are excited to welcome the students back on March 31.
