Hello Tom Baines Families,

The last two weeks were busy as our Grade 9 students completed their first PAT and took their Grade Photo, our school CTF Showcase, a Rosebud Field Trip and our Grade 8 Band Festival. Thank you to everyone who came to these events to support our students. With only just over a month left of the school year, there are many more things to accomplish. Please read below for important information.

Important Dates:

May 27 – Last School Council Meeting in the Learning Commons at 7:00 pm. Join the meeting now online.

May 27 – 28 – Grade 8 Riverwatch Field Trips and Grade 9 Leadership Field Trips

May 30 – French Café

June 1 – Community Fence Art Project

June 6 – Grade 9 Farewell at the school from 6:30 – 8:30 pm

June 10 – Band Concert at 7:00 pm at Foothills Alliance Church

June 12 – 20 – Final Exams and PATs

Grade 9 Farewell – we are excited to celebrate the end of Middle School with our Grade 9 students on June 6. The event is at the school and is for students only. Please remember to pay your fee on Power School. If your child is not attending, please email tombaines@cbe.ab.ca to let us know. Also, if you would like to volunteer this please email Janice Spence at academy@tutoralberta.com.

Overdue Fees – a gentle reminder to pay all remaining fees in Power School. This money is required to run different programs and trips. We appreciate your support.
