What is a Learning Commons? 

 “A Learning Commons is an inclusive, flexible, learner-centred, physical and/or virtual space for collaboration, inquiry, imagination and play to expand and deepen learning.”

The Tom Baines Learning Commons is the centre of our school learning community.  It is open Monday to Thursday from 8:35 - 3:45 and Fridays from 8:35 - 1:15. 

The CBE library online catalogue can be accessed by clicking on this link : e-Library  Students can search by title, author and subject. Remember to choose 'Tom Baines school' in the library field instead of ‘ALL’ libraries. 

For digital resources, you can log into our D2L Brightspace, and under ‘Content’, you’ll find a number of online resources, including textbooks.
