Hello Tom Baines Families,

2023 is winding down and we are excited to welcome 2024. It has been an amazing year full of wonderful learning opportunities. Over the past week we had a very successful Family Craft Night and a great Winter Band Concert. Thank you to all students, staff and families for continuing to help build our amazing community. Also, thank you to everyone who donated items for our Christmas Hampers. They will go towards families in need.

Important Dates

December 19 – Holiday Sweater Day

December 22 – Last day of classes

December 23 – January 7 – Winter Break

January 8 – Classes resume

January 10 – Grade 9 Vaccination Presentations

January 15 – Professional Learning Day – no school for students

January 16 – Grade 9 Vaccinations

Grade 9 Vaccinations – Please ensure that you have sent your child's vaccination forms back to school.  If you haven't done so, please do so ASAP.  This is important communication whether you want vaccines or not.

Grade 6 Lunch Hour Supervision – If your child stays for lunch and you have not registered for lunch supervision it will be done for you next week.  Please review the attached fee agreement regarding Grades 1-6 Lunch Supervision.   

Lates and Attendance – students who arrive late after lunch because they were at the plaza purchasing food will lose off-campus privileges. Please see the attachment sent out via email regarding late arrival to school.

While we still have one week of school to go, we want to wish each of you a safe and relaxing winter break. School begins on January 8, 2024.
